During fall 2003, three University units (the Academic Health Center; General College; and the College of Agriculture, Food, and Environmental Science) requested that WebCT sites automatically be created for each section of every course. Since there is no practical way to determine which of these auto-created sites was actually used by faculty members in fall 2003, data on numbers of WebCT sites and users in fall 2003 are not comparable to data from previous semesters.
